Savannah Air Center (SAC) has been renamed Midcoast Aviation. Midcoast Savannah is a full-service aviation center and offers corporate aircraft operators the highest quality maintenance, avionics installation and repair, interior completions, refurbishment and exterior painting. Located at Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport, Midcoast Savannah employs nearly 400 professionals. The company is an FAA, EASA, Saudi Arabia and Bermuda approved repair station for Bombardier Challenger and Global Express aircraft, Gulfstreams and most models of Falcon and Hawker aircraft. Midcoast Savannah also holds the power plant rating for Rolls Royce Spey and Tay engines and an accessory rating for the Honeywell 36-100 APU. It provides its services from its 220,000-sq-ft state-of-the-art facilities. In addition, Midcoast Savannah is an authorized completions center for the Bombardier Global 5000 and Global Express XRS business jets.
