Jet Aviation’s aircraft management division receives CAMO certificate for Cayman Islands registered aircraft
April 30, 2009
Jet Aviation’s EMEA & Asia aircraft management division was recently certified a Continuous Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO) for Cayman Islands-registered aircraft. The company will soon also be able to offer CAMO services to owners of aircraft registered in Bermuda. For Cayman Islands- and Bermuda-registered aircraft, management by a CAMO will be mandatory effective beginning in 2010. Jet Aviation will now be able to offer a full package of aircraft management services to Cayman Islands registered aircraft, including documentation and certification, working with local authorities, and all billing and annual-review scheduling. Jet Aviation provides CAMO+ and Airworthiness Reviews for all EASA-registered commercial and private aircraft with a maximum take-off weight above 5.7 tons. Management by a CAMO-approved organization has been mandatory in the region since September 2008. “We are very happy to have received the CAMO certificate for Cayman Islands-registered aircraft as we see an increasing demand for aircraft managed by a CAMO in the region,” says Martin Eibicht, director technical services at Jet Aviation’s EMEA & Asia aircraft management division, adding, “We also are looking forward to expanding our service offerings to existing and potential clients.” Aircraft management services offer owners and operators tailor-made solutions, developed to suit their individual needs. Jet Aviation's aircraft management includes in-house international and domestic flight planning and scheduling, flight-crew staffing, line operations and maintenance services as well as insurance, accounting and administrative services. |
